VerifyMC is discontinued. These historical documents remain available for existing users and do not imply active maintenance or current compatibility.

Introduction

VerifyMC is a whitelist verification and user management plugin for Minecraft servers. Players register from a web page while administrators review applications from the dashboard. Version v1.8.0 uses Chinese by default and keeps English available whenever you need it.

Key Features

  1. Web registration and review - Players submit applications while admins approve, reject, ban, or remove accounts online.
  2. Flexible review modes - Use automatic approval, manual review, optional questionnaires, or LLM scoring.
  3. Email and built-in CAPTCHA - Use SMTP verification or the built-in math/text CAPTCHA.
  4. Chinese by default, English available - The plugin, web UI, and proxy extension support both languages.
  5. Clear admin workspace - The GlassX frontend provides user lists, review history, search, and live notifications.
  6. Discord and AuthMe integration - Link Discord accounts and synchronize AuthMe users and passwords.
  7. Multiple whitelist and storage modes - Supports Bukkit whitelist sync, plugin-managed data, local files, and MySQL.
  8. Proxy and Bedrock support - Supports BungeeCord, Waterfall, Velocity, Geyser, and Floodgate.
  9. Automatic configuration backup - Configuration and language resources are backed up before upgrades.

Tech Stack

  • Java (Bukkit/Spigot/Paper/Folia plugin)
  • Frontend: Vue3 + Tailwind CSS (custom themes supported)
  • WebSocket real-time communication
  • Email service: SMTP

Installation & Configuration

  1. Download the latest verifymc-*.jar from GitHub Releases. If you use a proxy, download verifymc-proxy-*.jar as well.
  2. Put the main plugin in the backend server’s plugins directory and the proxy plugin in the BungeeCord, Waterfall, or Velocity plugins directory.
  3. Start the server, then edit plugins/VerifyMC/config.yml to confirm the port, registration URL, authentication methods, and storage mode.
  4. Restart the server and open http://your-server-ip:8080.

Administrator Login

The admin panel does not use a separate default password. It verifies a registered account and requires that player to be a server OP:
  1. Register an administrator account on the web page and keep its username and password.
  2. Run /op player_name from the console or in-game.
  3. Open “Login” in the page header and sign in with that account. The admin menus appear after authorization.
If access is denied, confirm that the username matches the OP name in ops.json. Admin API calls use the session token issued after login.

Language

Chinese is the default language. Use the language switcher in the web page header to choose English, or set the plugin default explicitly:
